La Mesa Ecopark is a 33 hectare public park located in Quezon City, Philippines. It consists the La Mesa Dam and an ecological nature reserve area site. The ecopark was established to save the La Mesa Watershed Project, which serves as the major source of drinking water for Metro Manila residents and the nearby cities.
It is a perfect place for outdoor recreation and a true nature experience. Visitors can enjoy different kinds of activities such as hiking, biking, paintball, zipline, picnic, boating, fishing, wall climbing, swimming and camping. It is also one of the most popular destinations for educational trips, family outings and photography shoots.
There are few kiosks selling food and drinks in the ecopark, so it’s better to bring some food if you want to fill your belly. The entrance fee is budget friendly, but the ecopark is well maintained.
If you want a one day cool break from the city hustle and a refreshing place to hang out, visit the La Mesa Ecopark.
